OX
Medium: Wooden Sculpture
Size: 13.5 x 10.5 x 6.5 inches
Year: 2019
In Chinese culture, Ox is often viewed as a symbol of diligence and down-to-earth hard workers. The upper part of the sculpture is made in the shape of oxtail bone, and the lower part is taken from the idea of China’s map. I portray that China is still a primarily labor-led country.
